Hello, I’m Dan Schilling.
For the past 25+ years, my mission has been simple: helping people connect God’s Word to daily life — especially with money.
🌱 I’m a husband and father of seven sons (yes, seven!).
I grew up a farm boy in Ohio, and I still love seeing things grow — especially when it’s people growing in wisdom and faithfulness.
For over 50 years, I’ve been immersed in the church world, from small country pews to serving alongside global leaders.
Yet when it came to the church and money, the main message I consistently heard was about tithing or “being generous.”
I’ll never forget the shock of discovering that the Bible has more than 2,000 verses about money and possessions — and realizing those principles, which go far beyond giving, were rarely taught at home, in church, or in educational settings at any level.
For years, I thought I was a “good steward” because I saved, tithed, lived simply, and worked hard.
But looking back, I see that I was mostly following a standardized plan handed down from others — not seeking God directly for His plan.
That realization began a journey that began with my first Bible study on money, and, by God’s grace, led to:
👉Serving 20 years with two global financial ministries, 13 in global leadership.
👉Teaching biblical financial principles to people worldwide.
👉Experiencing how His Word brought healing and direction in our marriage, shaping the way we parent, and deepening our willingness to follow Him wherever He leads.
Through it all, I sensed God saying: “Don't just teach these principles — live them, and then testify to what faithfulness looks like.”
That calling brought tests and challenges, but also lessons I wouldn’t trade.
